Cozy, quality stay with minor drawbacks

Charming hotel with good ambiance. Rooms were clean and relatively spacious for Japan standards. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Good location. Hot water. Good wifi.

Considering they have a cafe, it would have been nice to have a free welcome drink for guests. They also don't allow outside food for guests in the lobby area (due to the cafe), so if you get food from 7-eleven, plan on eating outside or in your room. Seems a little stringent and unfair to not provide coffee or an eating area for guests who are already spending ¥10,000+/night... Minor inconvenience to go up to the room to eat a breakfast snack, then return to the lobby to buy a coffee.

Cozy and warm

Warm and friendly staff. Adorable lobby. Quiet and away from the noise. 24 hour open cafe.

Smaller than expected room. However, the room size is listed so the information is transparent. Next time, I would upgrade the room size.

Lovely hotel overall but an issue with our bag has left a negative feel to the stay.

Great location, good use of space in the room - small but didn’t feel cramped. Loved borrowing books to read during our stay!

We had a bit of a struggle with sending our snowboard bag from the hotel via Yamato. Hotel staff made us put the snowboard bag in a cover that didn’t fit (even though we told them Yamato hadn’t needed that before). The tag was lost along the way and we are VERY lucky Yamato could figure out where our bag needed to go. The bag was also damaged as a result of this, which is pretty frustrating (this was caused by the hotel staff covering all the handles on the bag with the unnecessary cover).

Excellent location in a shopping street, walking distance to stations and major attractions/sights. Rooms were warm and clean.

The room was small, expected in Japan, but there was no place to sit down other then the bed.

It it 20mins (depends on your speed) walk to Pole town, restaurants, Family Mart convenient store and bars are within the area. The staff were so kind to mail my forgotten item.

Unique boutique-style accommodation in the bustling heart of Sapporo

Elegant use of materials and considered fit out for small rooms. Excellent bathroom. Lovely cafe space at ground level. Welcoming staff. Right on main tourist/shopping strip.

Wonderful

The location was excellent. It was clean and i loved the laundry room. It was very easy and cheap to use it.

The bed and the pillows weren’t the best. Also the room was so dark, windows were facing to a building. Also the stuff could speak little bit of English.

Cosy little hotel

Location was ideal as it was situated right in the Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Short walk to Sapporo, Odori and Susukino Stations. It is fully equipped with amenities for a restful night. Ambience was fantastic in the cafe below which also serves as the reception area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay here if we visit Sapporo again.

Room has enough space for two persons for a short stay. If you have huge luggages, you will need to be agile in navigating your way in the room.

Love the books and the cafe within the hotel, and that it was located within a covered shopping street.

Overall, an excellent hotel. An excellent location. An excellent stay. Recommended to friends.

Everything was almost perfect. However, if the room size and area can be bigger, it would be perfect. We were extremely surprise to see in-room slippers and pyjamas provided. The toilet size is also bigger than we thought. Although we did not try out the cafe, but the ambience was fantastic. Location is excellent. Minutes walk to Sapporo, Odori and Susukino Station. Situated right in Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Oh! the self-service check-out kiosk is a great idea.
